Mary Coates

Mary Ella Coates, age 57 of Fargo, North Dakota died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in her home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Schoeneberger Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Schoeneberger Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in the Spring of 2013.

Mary Ella was born on November 21, 1955 in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jane (Weis) Coates. She graduated from Perham High School and worked most of her life as a healthcare provider. Mary enjoyed a good laugh, music, reading, board games, and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving Mary is her mother, Mary Jane of Perham, Minnesota; brother, Thomas (Victoria) of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Julie (Phil) Barker of St. Joseph, Missouri; nieces, Leah and Sarah Coates; nephews, Sean Barker and Aaron Coates; aunt, Jackie Friedsam; and many cousins.

Preceding Mary in death is her father, Charles; and grandparents, Rudy and Mary Weis, Bill and Ella Yusk, and Ann Coates.

Mary will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
