Mary Dulski

Mary Elizabeth (Lachowitzer) Dulski was born May 11, 1936, in Perham, MN to John and Clara (Schuessler) Lachowitzer. She was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dent, MN. She attended rural country school in Dent through eighth grade and graduated from Perham High School in 1954. Mary worked as a waitress at the Eagles Café in Perham where she met Chester Dulski. She went on to marry Chester in 1958 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and together raised five children. The couple owned and operated their dairy farm in Corliss Township until Chester died in 1983.

In addition to being a homemaker, Mary worked for RDO, Perham Bakery, and Kenny’s Candy. Mary loved to play games of any kind, especially yard games, play bingo, put together puzzles, and enjoy a good movie. She also enjoyed traveling, with Alaska being her favorite. But nothing made her happier than visiting and laughing with her friends and family.

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Mary passed away surrounded by her loving family at Perham Health, at 86 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving Mary are her five children: Catherine Miller of Wadena, MN, Daniel (Brenda) Dulski of Perham, Teresa (David) Wiebe of Perham, Ralph Dulski of Perham, and Karen (Wade) Walsh of Woodbury, MN; five grandchildren: Jason Dulski, Rebecca Dulski, Megan Wiebe, Christopher Wiebe, and Finley Walsh; four great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law Cathy Lachowitzer.

Preceding Mary in death were her parents; her husband Chester; mother and father-in-law Stanley and Wanda Dulski; and her brothers Norbert and Albert Lachowitzer.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 and parish prayers at 6:45 on Monday, August 22 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham. Visitation will resume beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 on Tuesday, August 23 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Perham. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Perham.
