Mary Lou Romann age 68 of Perham MN, died June 10, 2012 at Sanford Health of Fargo, ND.
Mary Lou was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 26, 1943, only daughter of Mary (Thoma) and Harold Simpkins. She was
united in marriage to Gordon Romann on September 11, 1965, in Reno, Nevada, and then resided in California. Mary Lou was a strong 4-H leader in the community they lived in while her kids were young. In 1985, she and her husband, Gordon, moved to Minnesota. Mary Lou was employed by the School District and the VFW. Her passion was always cooking. Mary Lou always gathered the family together for the holidays where she loved to cook a great meal for everyone. She also enjoyed canning everything that came out of the garden with her husband and daughters. Mary Lou was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving Mary Lou is her husband, Gordon, of Perham MN; two daughters Marjorie (Jeremy Vargas) and Katherine Perez; nine grandchildren, Tory Romann and Jade Lenius, Edward, Lupe, Juan, Mike Perez and Tommy, Amber and Patric Concanon and 4 great- grandchildren.
Preceding Mary Lou in death are both her parents, Mary Jane and Harold Simpkins and son-in-law, Joe Perez.
