Maxine Moenkedick

Maxine Clara Moenkedick, age 73, of Perham , MN , died Thursday, June 18, 2009 , at the Frazee Care Center , Frazee , MN .


Maxine was born August 20, 1935 , in Washington County , the daughter of Herman and Margaret (Chennaux) Grosskreutz. She was united in marriage to Henry Moenkedick on April 1, 1967 , in Perham , MN . Maxine enjoyed her grandchildren and being on the go, “zeening,” as her children called it. Her laugh was infectious and enjoyed by many!



Maxine is survived by seven children, Barbara (Mark) Lenius, Perham, MN; Debra (Roger) Sazama, Perham, MN; Vickie (Nick) Moenkedick, Bertha, MN; Cindy (Artie) Ziolkowski, Perham, MN; Kevin (Pansi) Millage, Cannon Falls, MN; Kathy Moenkedick, Perham, MN; and Herman Moenkedick, Perham, MN; twenty two grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one brother, Gerald (Mary) Grosskreutz; five sisters, Shirley Larson, Laura Wallman, Carol (Hank) Schlomka, Shannon (Claude) Rogers, and Frances VanHenveln.



Preceding Maxine in death are her parents; husband, Henry; son-in-law, Nick; and two brothers, Walter and Robert Grosskreutz.
