Michael A. Wagner, age 64, passed away on May 9, 2012, at his Perham home, surrounded by his family. Comfort care was provided by Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Michael Arnold Wagner was born on August 29, 1947, at St. James Hospital, Perham, MN, the son of Arnold and Viola (Grover) Wagner of Richville, MN. He attended special education classes in Pelican Rapids until age 21. Michael then went on to work for the Dent DAC and Productive Alternatives, Inc., of Perham. He looked forward to coming out to the family farm in Richville on weekends and then back to "his house in Perham" during the week. Michael participated in Special Olympics each year and has many ribbons. He enjoyed going to camp each year and the many activities provided by West Central Services and other organizations in the area.
Surviving Michael is his sister, Myrna Wagner and many cousins.
Preceding Michael in death are his parents, Arnold and Viola Wagner.
Michael's friendly smile and hello will be missed by his sister, caregivers, and many friends.
