Mildred Scully

Mildred A. Scully, age 96, of Perham , MN , died Sunday, August 24, 2008 , at MeritCare Hospital , Fargo , ND .


Mildred was born June 1, 1912, in Enid, OK, the daughter of George Clement and Sarah (Grice) Mullen. She grew up in Maine Township , MN , and lived in the rural Dent, MN, area for nearly 70 years before retiring to Perham. Mildred was active in community and church groups and a contributing member of her community until her final illness.



Above all, Mildred treasured her family and valued her friends; appreciating their kindness.



Mildred is survived by five children, Dorothy (Tom) Noud; James (Anita) Scully; Larry (Marcy) Scully; Mary Rinkel; and Teresa Scully; two brothers, James (Michelle) Mullen and Vincent Mullen; a sister, Margaret Leeman; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.



Preceding Mildred in death are her parents; husband, Frank; son, Raymond; and two brothers, Maynard and Floren.
