Myrtle Schiller

Myrtle E. Schiller, age 99, of Perham , MN , died Friday, September 24, 2010 , at the Perham Memorial Hospital .


Myrtle was born June 5, 1911 in the Deer Creek-Bertha, MN, area, the daughter of Henry and Ida (Frimwood) Brown. She spent her early years mostly caring for her seven younger siblings and then her own children and country home. For many years the children of her church were blessed by her love and teaching. Later she enjoyed several years of hospital nursing. Recently her caring cheery ways have endeared her to Briarwood residents and staff alike where she led games and participated in activities.


Myrtle is survived by her son, Marvin (Donna) Ward; daughters, Marjorie Baker, Cleo Foreman, and Connie (Kevin) Wellman; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.


Preceding Myrtle in death are her parents, Henry and Ida; husbands, Sylvester Ward and John Schiller; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Sandra Ward; and sons-in-law, Eual Baker and Clint Foreman.


Myrtle was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
