Nancy Kay Zitzow, age 69, of Dent, MN, died at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, MN, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born in Chicago, IL, on September 28, 1942, daughter of Eldred and Agnes (Mulvaney) Lemieux. The same year, the family moved to Lisbon, ND. In the following year, they relocated to Fargo, ND. Nancy started her education at a Catholic School, and graduated from Central High School, in Fargo, in 1960. In 1962, Nancy met Theodore "Ted" Zitzow at the lake. They were married on June 13, 1964, in Fargo, at the Nativity Catholic Church. Nancy and Ted had three children, James, Donna and Loretta.
Surviving Nancy is her husband, Ted, Dent, MN; children, James (Beth) Zitzow, Fargo, ND, Donna (Matt) Peterson, Hickson, ND, and Loretta Zitzow (Stan Keller), Perham, MN; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; aunt, Lois Schultz, Lisbon, ND; sister-in-law, Theresa Zitzow; brother-in-law, Warren (Marlene) Zitzow; numerous nieces and nephews and Steve Belcourt.
Preceding Nancy in death are her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Erwin and Georgia Zitzow, and her brother-in-law, Jarvis Zitzow.
