Norbert Henry Lein quietly passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Perham living. A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 beginning at 2:00 pm at the Perham Living chapel with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Visitation will be held at the Perham Living chapel before the funeral mass from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at St. Henry's Catholic Cemetery.
Norbert was born on February 21, 1924 in Perham to Henry and Margaret Lein. Norb came from a large family of ten brothers and three sisters. On January 19, 1948 he married Loretta Ardel Ebberson. They had four children. Norb worked for Otter Tail Power Company and then 34 years at the feed elevator in Perham.
His hobby was wood working and he was a big MN Twins and Vikings fan. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Norbert is survived by his wife Loretta, a daughter Gloria (Mike) Lord of Zimmerman, MN; a son Larry of Apple Valley, MN; a son Tim of Ottertail, MN; a daughter Brenda (Rick) Vizinor of Frazee, MN. He is also survived by a brother Joe, a sister Beata, and 7 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.
