Paul Ellis

Paul Edward Ellis, age 81, of Perham , MN , died peacefully September 17, 2009 , under the loving care of the JoHannah House, Ashby , MN , and Lakeland Hospice.


Paul was born June 13, 1928 , in rural Richville , MN , the son of Wilbur and Fern (Whaley) Ellis. He served in the US Army in Panama . After his discharge from the Army he worked at various jobs in the Otter Tail/ Becker County area including Mark’s Sand and Gravel, Swift in Frazee, and Midstate Auto Auction in New York Mills. Paul enjoyed a good joke, reading Westerns and playing cribbage. He never lost his sense of humor.



Paul is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Ellis and many nieces, nephews and cousins.



Preceding Paul in death are his parents; brothers, Walter and Howard; sisters, Bernice and Blanche and their spouses.
