Funeral services for Ralph Joseph Wasche, age 84, of Perham, MN, will be Friday, January 16, 2004, at St. Henry?s Catholic Church, Perham, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend David Rieder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham, is from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2004, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Ralph went to be with his Lord on January 11, 2004.
Born on July 17, 1919, Ralph was the oldest of five sons, of Joseph Aloicious and Crescentia ?Grace? Helena (Hassler) Wasche, in Bluffton, MN. Ralph grew up in the Bluffton area and married Inez Aurelia Snyder, of Wadena, MN, on April 21, 1942.
Ralph will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered as a wonderful and dedicated husband and father. He leaves behind many mementos of his talents in taxidermy, oil painting, and unique crafts, as well as the beautiful flower and rock gardens he created.
Surviving Ralph are his children, Ralph, Jr. (Debby), of White City, OR, Mary, of Fargo, ND, Martin (Mary), of Isle, MN, Bernice, of Minneapolis, MN, Robert (Sharon), of Ottertail, MN, Karen (Keith) Newton, of Redmond, OR, Gerard, of Coon Rapids, MN,
Stella (George) Mills, of Naperville, IL, Stephen (Linda), of Mesa, AZ, Joyce (Paul) Molitor, of White Bear Lake MN, Joan (James) Fudge, of Perham, MN, Amy (William) Marshall, Andover, MN and Edith, of Coon Rapids, MN; forty-three grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Elmer (Jerry), of Portland, OR, Norbert, of Oroville, CA and Joseph (Delores), of Perham, MN.
Preceding Ralph in death are his parents; his wife, Inez and one brother, James.
