Roberta "Bobbi" Sachs

Roberta “Bobbi” Sachs, age 95, of Perham, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, surrounded by her family at Perham Living.

Bobbi was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, on January 30, 1931 to Roy and Alice (Jenson) Zehm. She was the loving mother of four children: Doug, Debbie, Donette, and Dwight, and was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Throughout her working years, Bobbi held positions at Stark's Saloon in Eagan, Brown & Bigelow in St. Paul, worked as a secretary for a cabinetry company near Hamel, and served as treasurer for the town of Perham.

Active in her community, Bobbi was an aqua aerobics instructor at the Perham Area Community Center (PACC), participated in TOPS, and was deeply involved alongside Wayne in the Master Gardeners of Perham. She and Wayne loved dining out throughout the Perham area, especially enjoying a good bowl of soup!

Bobbi married Wayne Sachs on October 20, 1973, in Shakopee, Minnesota, and together they shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. A passionate gardener, Bobbi found great joy in tending to her yard filled with hundreds of hostas and vibrant flowers. She and Wayne traveled across the country attending national Hosta conventions. She also cherished trips to visit beloved family members across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Bobbi and Wayne treasured every holiday season. Their lake home was the gathering place for countless parties, and they took great delight in baking, cooking, and lighting up the house for Christmas.

Together, they enjoyed nearly 30 years of peaceful retirement on the lake, surrounded by wonderful neighbors. After living at the lake for as long as they could, they moved into the Perham Living Care Center, where they finished their beautiful love story together.

Surviving Bobbi is her daughter, Donette; stepchildren, Sheldon, Marshall (Jeane), Colleen (Scott), and Doug (Pam); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; children, Doug, Debbie, and Dwight; and a grandchild.

Bobbi and Wayne are reunited in Heaven, forever at peace and dancing together once again. Their love lives on eternally.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Perham Living Chapel in Perham, MN. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service. A time of remembrance and luncheon will immediately follow the service in the Community Hall.
