Sharon Ann Schroeer

Jun 4, 1951 — Jul 21, 2026

Sharon Ann Schroeer, 75, of Perham, Minnesota, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord on July 21, 2026, in Fargo, North Dakota, surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren.

Born on June 4, 1951, in Perham, Minnesota, Sharon was the youngest child of Alfred and Arley Marweg. She grew up alongside her siblings, Mary Lou Kapfer, Warren Marweg, Arlan Marweg, and Wayne Marweg, and carried the values of faith, family, and hard work throughout her life.

Sharon was a devoted homemaker whose greatest calling was caring for her family. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. She found joy in tending her flower gardens, baking for those she loved, and preparing home-cooked meals that brought family together around the table. Whether sharing a meal, celebrating a holiday, or simply visiting over coffee, Sharon made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.

Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. It gave her strength through life's joys and hardships, guided her with compassion and grace, and provided her with peace that she shared with those around her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Danny Kurt Schroeer, in 2012; her cherished youngest son, Aaron Schroeer; and her siblings, Mary Lou Kapfer and Wayne Marweg.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Stuart Kimmes and his wife, Brooke; Scott Kimmes and his wife, Charlotte; Jennifer Olson and her husband, Aaron; and Corey Schroeer and his wife, Emily. She is also survived by seven beloved grandchildren, four precious great-grandchildren, her siblings Warren Marweg and Arlan Marweg, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Sharon's legacy is one of quiet strength, unwavering love, and selfless devotion to her family. She taught by example that the simplest acts of kindness, a warm meal, a beautiful garden, an open door, and a loving heart, can leave the greatest impact. The memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

While her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and find comfort knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband and son. Sharon will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Corliss. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
