Terrance J. Bleichner, age 68 of Perham, MN, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Terry was born to John and Norma (Cavalier) Bleichner on March 10, 1956 in Perham, MN.
He was baptized at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Perham. When he was young the family moved to Waconia, MN and was confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and graduated from Waconia High School in 1974.
Terry was an avid wrestler, active in the Jaycees most importantly, a very talented drummer. He played in several bands including the Highliners, Grease Lightnin and several polka bands. He also played for national bands and the Knights of Columbus Drum and Bugle Corps.
At a very young age, Terry owned his own gas station in St. Bonifacius. In 1976, he married Diane (Wehle) and had two children, Melissa and Jesse. Years later, he married Barb (Kimball) and had a son, Chad.
Terry was an entrepreneur who enjoyed selling cars with his dad at Perham Auto Sales & Pawn Shop. He received a degree in sign lettering and graphics at Minnesota Tech College of Detroit Lakes. He had his own sign painting / detail service business in Perham. He also worked for Barrel O’ Fun and Kenny’s Candies. He was a very hard worker and truly a jack of all trades. Terry always wore a smile and was a friend to many. He had a very big heart and his family meant so much to him. His jokes and laughter could fill any room.
He will be forever missed by his mother, Norma; three children, Melissa, Jesse (Jessica), Chad (Alli); grandchildren, Lily, Ambrosia, Keenen and Nolan; brother, Mike (Lynn) and their children, Chris (Abigail) Mathew, Joshua (Lacey) and Michelle; sister, Karen (Kevin) Trapp, and their children, Nathan and Nicolas (Andrea); grand nieces and nephews; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, John; and granddaughter, Azaelea.
