Theodore "Ted" Tharaldson passed away on November 20, 2015 in Perham, Minnesota. Ted and his wife, Claris were longtime residents of the Moorhead-Fargo area prior to retirement on Big McDonald Lake and receiving their final care at Perham Living. Ted was born on January 16, 1926 to Theodore and Ernestine Tharaldson of Bemidji, Minnesota.
Both Ted and his twin brother, Tes served in the army during World War II. Ted married Claris Sanderson in 1947. Together, they had six children.
Ted is preceded in death by his wife, Claris and his son, Larry.
Living on in testament are Jane (Todd) Brust, Wanda (Pete) Gentile, Judi (Mike) Hovde, Janice Tharaldson, Philip (Pam) Tharaldson, Linda Tharaldson and Teresa (Jon) Stoderl; his grandchildren, Tracy, Jenifer, Amy, Kristen, Jaric, Danielle, Nicole, Lauren and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Nathan, Makena, Coleman, Aiden, Tanner, Jake, Garret, Alexander, Logan, Madison, Mariah and Aiden.
A service celebrating Ted's long and loving life will be held at Perham Living (735 3rd Street Southwest) on Monday, November 23, 2015. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with the service at 11:00 a.m.
