Timothy Joseph Meek

Timothy Joseph Meek, age 64, of Perham, MN, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Tim was born on May 23, 1962, in Rochester, Minnesota. At 19, he moved to Shakopee, where he met the love of his life, Romaine Lemire. They were married on March 30, 1984, and went on to have two children, Chris and Kim.

Tim worked at Anchor Glass for 38 years before retiring at 57. After retirement, he moved to Perham, Minnesota, where he spent the next seven years living the life he loved most — enjoying the peace, quiet, and freedom of life in the woods. It was his time to slow down, relax, and enjoy life on his own terms.

Tim enjoyed the simple things in life — trips to Jamaica, camping, playing cards, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Tim was a man of few words when it came to feelings, but he had his own ways of showing how much he cared. He showed his love by cooking for people, helping whenever he could, and doing the little things that made life easier for those around him. He was sweet, kind, and always ready to tease someone or pull a joke just to get a laugh. He especially loved messing around with his grandkids, playing tricks and games, and keeping everyone entertained.

Tim never needed to be the center of attention. He was happy just being himself, enjoying life, sharing a meal, listening to music, and making people laugh. He may not have always said how he felt, but the people who knew him knew he cared. He will be remembered for his quiet kindness, his sense of humor, and the many ways he showed his love without ever needing to say it.

Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham, followed by the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m.
