William Edward "Billy" Evans, age 72 of Richville, MN died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in his home. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Richville United Methodist Church. Pastor Rod Tornquist will officiate. Burial will be in the Richville Village Cemetery.
Billy was born August 2, 1944 in Morris, MN the son of Earnest and Louise (Boeckholt) Evans.
Billy loved his family at West Central Community Services. He enjoyed going to work and shoveling snow. A very avid Minnesota Twins fan, Billy especially liked Tony Oliva. Billy was able to make it to many Twins games in both the Metrodome and Target Field. He enjoyed playing cards; Kings in the Corner being a favorite. Billy enjoyed listening to Charlie Pride country music, eating pie and drinking coffee at Nootzi's and going to church. Above all, Billy always strived to "be a good man".
Surviving Billy is his brother Robert D. Evans of New Brighton, MN; his niece Sharon Fallon of WA; along with many other nieces, nephews and special friends.
Preceding Billy in death were his parents; his sister Pauline Conroy; and his brother Herbert Evans.
