Dawson Schultes

Dawson Lee Schultes, age 19 of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, was called to heaven unexpectedly on June 25, 2022.

He was born on August 2, 2002 in Perham, MN and the second child born to Jeffrey and Dina (Remmen) Schultes. Dawson grew up in Perham and graduated from Fergus Falls in 2021.

After graduating, he was employed at Otter Tail County Soil and Conservation Department. Here Dawson worked with obnoxious weeds and insects. He planned to obtain his CNA and then enroll in college to become a bioengineer.

Dawson loved to dance, enjoyed coffee dates with his girlfriend, Janaya, hanging out with friends, and going to the library. He spent hours on computers, gaining knowledge and learning about technology, while also enjoying playing games as well. Dawson loved music and was teaching himself how to play the violin. He touched many hearts during his journey through life and was a caring person with big expectations.

Surviving Dawson is his father, Jeff; brother, Jesse; nephew, Kie; grandma, Eloise; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dina; grandfather, Cal Schultes; Dina’s parents; and aunt, Jackie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service in Perham. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
