Marcia Karg

Marcia L. (Boyd) Karg, age 56 of Frazee, MN died Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2:00 on Monday, August 12 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham, MN.

Marcia was born June 5, 1963 in Northfield, MN to Ralph and Carmen (Stowe) Boyd. She graduated from Northfield High School in 1981 and attended Dakota County Technical College earning a degree in accounting. Marcia worked for J & E/Earll Manufacturing for 26 years moving from accounts payable to director of finance. Marcia was united in marriage to David Karg on June 21, 2002. They bought a lake lot in September of 2002 and spent 16 years living their summers in their Shasta trailer with sons Dustin, Brandon and Tyler. Marcia loved her 4th of July parties, bonfires, flower gardening and pontooning. Marcia’s greatest love was spending time with her granddaughters Allison and Kylie. Together they would spend hours baking cookies, bars and other goodies for mom, dad and grandpa. Marcia and David built their dream home on the lake and moved there in April of 2019. Marcia had an infectious smile and a mischievous laugh. She was always quick with a joke and a jab. She loved her family and the lake.

Preceding Marcia in death was her father Ralph Boyd.

Surviving Marcia is her husband David Karg; her son Dustin (Vicki) Johnson and granddaughters Allison and Kylie; her sons Brandon Johnson and Tyler Karg; her mother Carmen Boyd; her brother Doug (Elsie) Boyd (Nikki, Kari and Kurt); her sister Kathy (Gerry) Franek (Ben, Lisa and Tom); and her sister Barbara (Joe) Klinkhammer (Zeb, Mel and Alaina; Alex, Lacy, Lawson, Brooklyn and Lindsey).
